Frankie has developed various ventriloquism puppets and figures for performers and hobbyists for many years. Here are some snapshots of the vent figures and the works-in-progress that he has been developing recently:

It all starts with a basic mold.

Epoxy has been sculpted on top of a papier mache base.

Applying an initial coat of paint to see how it looks.

After the mechanics are fitted, the next step is to repaint the face. This is roughly how it'll look.

Cute little feet for Rajoo

Rajoo vent figure with hands and feet in progress. He's got side-to-side eyes (not self-centering), raising eyebrows and mouth movements.

Here's Rajoo side by side with a Selberg vent figure.

Here are some other vent figures in various stages of progress:

Wingz the Hornbill for WITZ, Oak3 Films/OKTO Channel. Vent toucan with raising crest, blinking eyes, moving mouth and ball socket neck joint.

A completed commission by a children's entertainer.

The largest vent puppet that Frankie's ever made. Controlled by cable with articulated mouth, neck and arms.
