Hi folks, we’ve just received notification that Witz has been nominated for Best Preschool Education Programme in the Asian Television Awards 2011!
The Asian Television Awards is Asian TV industry’s most significant and celebrated event, recognizing excellence in programming, production and performance. Determined by an expert panel of over 50 judges from across the region, the results are tabulated and audited by international auditing firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers, with the winners only announced during the Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner in December.
Frankie and the team at Mascots and Puppets Specialists collaborated with esteemed production house Oak3 Films for this series which was screened on MediaCorp TV’s OKTO Channel. We created and performed with the numerous mascots and puppets featured in the show.
The results will be unveiled at the Asian Television Awards 2011 Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony on 8 December 2011 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore, so keep your fingers crossed!

UPDATE (22 DEC 2011): The award for Best Preschool Education Programme went to Win Sing Company’s Doby & Disy, which was broadcast on Hunan Broadcasting System, Aniworld TV, China. Nonetheless, we are honored that Witz got nominated! Congratulations to Doby & Disy!
